Michele Sanna presents spectacular South Korea, a country still unknown from a touristic point of view, let alone for bicycle trips. But with a construction project of 5000 km of suburban cycle paths (of which 2700 km is already in operation), the country is running to become the Mecca of cycling in Asia. The journey crosses the country from North to South, passing through large cities such as Seoul and Daegu but most of the time you are surrounded by nature which proves to be a real challenge.

Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and China: countries that are frequently covered in the news, often in dramatic and, quite literally, explosive tones. For two thousand years, these countries were connected and intertwined through a tight commercial network, historically known as The Silk Road. Throughout the centuries, on the mountains along this route, travellers and tradesmen such as Marco Polo sought for paths to reach China from the Mediterranean.
